Shana Matney, LMT
Shana earned her bachelor's degree in 1998 from UW-Lacrosse in Community Health Education. After graduation, Shana moved to Colorado to pursue her sense of adventure and love of the outdoors. While there, she worked as a Client Coordinator for the Rolfing Institute of Structural Integration. This experience was her first exposure to massage and bodywork and she knew this was her life’s passion. Shana returned to Wisconsin and earned her Massage Therapy Certificate at Lakeside School of Massage in 2004.
Shana’s expertise is in therapeutic massage that is also deeply relaxing. She enjoys the challenge of locating the source of discomfort and focusing directly to diminish or eliminate the problem. Shana’s experience ranges from athletes to seniors and prenatal massage. She is trained in Myofascial Release MFR, Neuromuscular Therapy NMT, Swedish, and Trigger Point Therapy, along with deep tissue and sports massage techniques.
“Massage Therapy is more than just my job; it's my passion. I love to bring pain relief, health, wellness and knowledge to my clients”.
Shana spends her free time playing with her husband and two young kids, gardening, and ever remodeling her 100 year old Victorian house.
