Kayla Stroud, LMT
Kayla is a 2013 graduate of the Rockford Career College Massage program and also received her CNA certification in 2016 from Madison Area Tech. College. She is also Wisconsin licensed and a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals).
She views massage as a clinic matter and is able to adapt her techniques to fit the clients’ needs; from toddler age to the elderly. Her work in numerous hospital and clinic settings has made her able to understand all aspects of health, such as physical, mental and even spiritually.
Kayla’s interest in massage stems from a rehabilitative state and enjoys working with clients who are seeking to improve their wellbeing. She has an immense talent for finding the source of someone’s pain or discomfort and looks at it from an anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology aspect of the human body. The majority of her work has been with cancer patients, athletes; clients post-rehab and the elderly. Through massage therapy, she can help decrease scar tissue, decrease headaches/migraines, increase range of motion, decrease pain, and much more.
Her training in massage includes therapeutic techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point, Myofascial release, Swedish, relaxation, reflexology, sports massage, hospice massage, and kinesiology taping. In addition, she specializes in neck, hip and shoulder dysfunctions.
In her spare time, Kayla likes to volunteer with various hospice organizations, as well as with the Alzheimer’s Association and is very active in her community. Her future aspirations include lymphatic drainage, oncology massage, and one day going back to school to be a PTA as well as a Gerontologist.
In addition, she also enjoys going on hikes with her fiancé and dog Nova, taking long rides on her motorcycle, and going trap shooting.
Kayla will be working at our Sun Prairie location.
