Sue Rucker, LMT, CT
Sue is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin La Crosse with a B.S. in Exercise Science, she later received her Massage Therapy certification from A Spirit Touch Institute in Madison. She began providing rehabilitative services and introduced massage therapy to Bakke Clinic in 1996. Sue currently leads our team of talented massage therapists, whose broad range of skills and training ensure that each clients needs are met.
20 years experience at Bakke Clinic and 5 years previous in a physical therapy setting along with countless hours of advanced training provide Sue with the necessary skills to work with challenging cases. Sue works collaboratively with your DC in providing care that is best for you.The ability to offer rehabilitative exercise along with therapeutic massage gives her the unique opportunity to enhance the benefits and improve outcome of your treatment.
She has specialized training in massage for both neck and back pain, rotator cuff injuries, hip flexor issues, TMJ disfunction, plantar fasciitis, oncology, post surgical and scar tissue massage and lymphatic drainage. Sue utilizes techniques of traditional Swedish massage along with Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular and trigger point therapies, lymphatic drainage massage and methods of both stretching and range of motion.
Sue holds Wisconsin licensure as both a massage therapist and a chiropractic technician. She is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork NCBTMB and a member of the Association for Bodywork and Massage Professionals ABMP.
Sue spends her spare time enjoying the outdoors with her Siberian Huskies from fall through spring and watching flowers grow in the summer.
