Erika has been working in the medical field her entire life. While in Brazil, she earned her degree in Physical Therapy in 1996. She moved to the US in 2013 and earned her T-doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. She worked as a hospice caregiver, which made her aware of restrictions with movement that come with the aging process. She continued her education earning her Massage Therapist license in 2021.
Erika’s specialty is working with clients over 50 years old who want to age well. Her style of massage is very therapeutic and extremely relaxing at the same time. She does a lot of passive range of motion, stretching, and gentle traction. She thinks of the body in movement, not just at rest. She enjoys helping her clients be more comfortable with their bodies and enjoys being part of their healing and self care process.
Erika speaks Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English. She loves outdoor activities like hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. She also enjoys exploring new parks in Wisconsin and really enjoys summer concerts.
Erika works at the DeForest and Waunakee locations.
