Morgan is a 2017 graduate of the Madison College Therapeutic Massage program and holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Morgan is Wisconsin licensed and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, AMTA.
Morgan’s education in kinesiology gives her a deeper understanding and appreciation of the anatomy, physiology, and potential for movement of the human body. The work she has done as a nurse’s aide in hospital settings and as a caregiver for individuals with varying physical and mental abilities has provided her a unique perspective into patient care. Morgan’s interest in massage stems from it’s rehabilitative as well as preventative applications. Her clinical and holistic outlook translates into promoting positive lifestyles and well-being for her clients so that they may enjoy pain-free and injury-free living. Her training in massage includes therapeutic techniques of deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish, proprioceptive neuromuscular stretching, lymphatic drainage, and hot stone massage.
Morgan is a very active person herself and an avid runner. She understands the utilization of massage as a tool for active individuals and enjoys working with them so they may continue to do the things they love. Additionally, she takes interest in providing relief for chronic issues such as migraines, headaches, and stress-related tension, manipulating scar tissue which causes pain or limits range of motion and recommending self-care techniques for promoting maintenance between massage and chiropractic treatments. Her future aspirations include learning cupping therapy, Kinesio taping, and Myofascial release techniques in order to better serve her clients’ needs.
