Dr. Kris graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, now known as Northwestern Health Sciences University, in Minnesota in 1995. Prior to joining Bakke Clinic in 2014, he had a private practice in Illinois for 16 years. He has a true family based practice, treating patients from infants to the elderly and everyone in between.
In 1997, Dr. Kris completed advanced training as a Certified Chiropractor in Spinal Trauma, which helped educate him on the treatment of automobile and work-related injuries.
For 16 years in Illinois, Dr. Kris was the team doctor for local high school sports teams. In 2000 he earned his advanced training as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. This certification educated him in the cause, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of many sports injuries.
Dr. Kris married his high school sweetheart in 1996. They are the proud parents of 1 son and 4 daughters. When he is not working, he enjoys coaching basketball, hunting, spending time with the family, and being outdoors.
